Ligne Roset at LIVING BERLIN
First walking sticks and umbrellas. Then furniture. And with them, worldwide success. The company's long history began in 1860 and is far from over today. After Antoine, Emile and Jean, Pierre and Michel Roset and now also their sons Antoine and Olivier have been at the helm of the company for many years. The history of Roset is a history characterized by perseverance, a feel for new trends and a sense of beauty and lifestyle.
Ligne Roset - this is the collection of one of the most successful manufacturer brands on the international market. It has grown continuously in depth and breadth over the years and now includes a complete range of seating furniture, beds, dining and coffee tables, wardrobes, carpets, accessories and lighting.
Today, the company has 700 retail partners in 70 countries and 850 employees and is celebrating 160 years of Ligne Roset in 2020.
Ligne Roset knows how to work with architects and designers to develop furnishing concepts that are in tune with the times and often set trends. The lines are clear, the workmanship clean, and the products radiate warmth and an attitude to life.
The collaboration with the well-known designers Christian Werner from Hamburg, Didier Gomez, Inga Sempé, the Bouroullec brothers from Paris, Pierre Paulin, Marie Chrstine Dorner, Philippe Nigro and now Sebastian Herkner has been particularly fruitful. They have designed many of the brand's now well-known successes, such as the PRADO sofa by Christian Werner, the NILS and HUDSON seating ranges by Didier Gomez, the RUCHE sofa and bed by Inga Sempé, the FACETT armchair and the PLOUM sofa by the Bouroullec brothers, and the PUMPKIN armchairs and sofas, ELYSEE and ANDY sofas by Pierre Paulin, the MANAROLA and PHILÉAS seating ranges by Philippe Nigro, the UNCOVER sofa by Marie Christine Dorner and the TARU sofas (2020) by Sebastian Herkner. The brand's bestseller is still the iconic and very well-known TOGO sofa by Michel Ducaroy from 1973, which is currently experiencing a lot of hype, not least on social media.
The collection is distributed via selected retail partners, most of whom concentrate fully on Ligne Roset and offer the brand exclusively. With this concept, which is unique in the furniture industry, the brand has been experiencing exceptional sales growth for years.
Ligne Roset is a sustainably managed family business that is not listed on the stock exchange, produces in the heart of Europe in France and is known and appreciated worldwide as a particularly creative furniture brand - Made in France.
The Ligne Roset store at LIVING BERLIN is one of three Ligne Roset stores in Berlin and presents an excellently designed staging of the brand's entire collection in a large space with a wonderful view of Berlin.
