Art collector and businessman Walter Schnepel founded the Tecnolumen brand in 1980. This was triggered by the Wagenfeld lamp - the Bauhaus icon by Wilhelm Wagenfeld. Since then, the name Tecnolumen has stood for luminaires with a strong character and timeless design, with a focus on designs from the Bauhaus era. In the manufactory in Bremen, lights and co. are created by hand, which are already collector's items or have the potential to become such. The product range of the traditional German company is only expanded slowly and with great care: all lights must have a perfect design language and be timeless. Tecnolumen products are characterized by careful craftsmanship, high-quality materials and fidelity to the original.
