Short films and exhibition at LIVING BERLIN
February is Berlinale month and together with Documentary LIVING BERLIN will also become a movie theater - for short films, in keeping with the themes of our hotel, of course:
LIVING FRAMES- Short film festival and exhibition
A cinematic journey through architecture and design
Architecture is more than just the art of building - it is movement, history and emotion. From February 14 - 22, LIVING FRAMES is dedicated to this on the occasion of the Berlinale at LIVING BERLIN, curated by Documentary the short film festival with accompanying exhibition explores the interplay between architecture, design and film. In four cubes on the first floor, created in partnership with NOWNESS, Architectuul, Attention Berlin and the Silver Frame Festivalshort films are presented on screens (and with headphones). All films have one theme: illuminating our built environment from new, surprising angles. Stories by visionaries, places full of poetry, perspectives that resonate. The LIVING FRAMES short films are complemented by an exhibition in which interior design examples from numerous tenants of our building interact with images by Thomas Platt from his city walks series. The renowned journalist, screenwriter and artist combines color, image fragments and philosophy to create a great whole.
The opening of LIVING FRAMES is on February 14 as part of Bubbles & Beats - we would be delighted if you could celebrate the start of these special weeks in our house with us from 5 to 7 pm!
