
Bang & Olufsen launches Atelier, offering customers for the first time the opportunity to create bespoke products in collaboration with its master craftsmen in Struer, Denmark. This milestone underlines the brand's rich heritage of unsurpassed sound quality and craftsmanship and offers opportunities for personal expression through unique creations and a range of customization options. Reflecting Bang & Olufsen's commitment to its customers, Atelier is the ultimate expression of the brand's design and craftsmanship and was launched in response to a significant increase in requests for customization and bespoke projects. "A customer who commissions a bespoke Bang & Olufsen product is not just creating a set of speakers, but an extension of their personality and style. Our goal is to create an experience and a product that speaks to the customer and builds a lasting relationship between Bang & Olufsen and the customer," explains Kristian Teär, CEO at Bang & Olufsen.
Bang & Olufsen Atelier offers individual customization options in the following areas:
- Atelier Bespoke: Working directly with an Atelier design expert, customers can design bespoke products in specific materials or color for a one-of-a-kind creation.
- Atelier catalog: Customers can choose from over 500,000 possible combinations of fabric, wood and aluminum finishes to create their product.
- Atelier Editions: Limited editions of iconic products from the portfolio that showcase Bang & Olufsen craftsmanship.
To celebrate the launch of the Atelier, Bang & Olufsen presents the Atelier Limited Edition Beosound 2 Gradient Collection. It includes 10 different gradient color combinations inspired by the emotions shaped by sound. Each gradient is limited to 10 engraved and numbered pieces. Carefully crafted using Bang & Olufsen's aluminum expertise at the renowned Factory 5 in Struer, Denmark.
The full Atelier experience will be available in selected Bang & Olufsen stores. In addition, Bang & Olufsen Atelier will allow customers to explore the possibilities for customization with the newly released digital composer.
