The German family business SCHRAMM was founded in 1923 by Karl Schramm as an upholstery and saddlery. In the 1960s, SCHRAMM specialized in the manufacture of high-quality mattresses and base mattresses. Later, beds, side tables, stools, bed linen and screens were added. Since then, the SCHRAMM brand has stood for physical and mental well-being in the sleeping area. The sleeping system is adapted precisely to the requirements of the individual user. They are exclusively tailor-made and of the highest quality workmanship - handmade in Germany. We attach just as much importance to the use of high-quality natural materials as we do to the ecological sustainability of the manufactured products. The design of the sleeping area also plays an important role in the feel-good factor. SCHRAMM therefore works with designers such as Sebastian Herkner. The company received the German Design Award in 2017 and was named Brand of the Century in 2012.
