LIVING BERLIN once again becomes a meeting place for art and creativity: Tina Winkhaus presents "UNLOCKING THE UNKNOWN"
From 14.03. the LIVING BERLIN once again into a place for art and design enthusiasts. The renowned artist Tina Winkhaus presents her new exhibition "UNLOCKING THE UNKNOWN" on the 3rd floor of our building and takes visitors into a visual world between digital perfection and analog depth.
With their unique approach, which they call "Analog AI" Winkhaus creates works that consciously distance themselves from mechanical aesthetics and instead rely on precise composition, lighting and artistic intuition.
In focus: Natura Morta - The vanitas of modernity
A special highlight of the exhibition is the new series of works "Natura Morta"with which Winkhaus reinterprets the classic still life. Inspired by the Dutch masters of the 17th century, she replaces traditional motifs with a parrot - a symbol of luxury, transience and transformation at the same time. The hyper-real stagings question the standstill of time and raise the question of what transience means in a world in which images exist perpetually and yet are constantly slipping away.
Other works in the exhibition
Besides "Natura Morta" Winkhaus presents a selection of its best-known series:
- "Underground" - A photographic glimpse into the darkness of a mysterious mine, populated by enigmatic figures
- "Camp it Up" - A playful deconstruction of the automobile as a cultural status symbol
- Portraits - Tailor-made works of art that showcase identity and character
